About

I am a third-year PhD student at McGill University studying close relationships.

I started my academic journey at Queen’s University in Kingston, Ontario, where I completed a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology and Gender Studies in 2023. Under the supervision of Dr. Tara MacDonald, I conducted my Honours thesis studying how close friendships and attachment styles predict adjustment to university. I also received training in human sexuality research by Dr. Meredith Chivers and Dr. Sari van Anders.

Now at McGill University, I am PhD student in Experimental Psychology under the supervision of Dr. John Lydon. Broadly, I am interested in studying why people are driven to pursue romantic relationships (especially unfulfilling ones), how relationships bring meaning to our lives, and how people thrive in singlehood. Through my work, I hope to gain a better understanding of healthy relationship decision-making and to ultimately promote well-being in and out of relationships.
